ASB, Birkenhead Park

We are aware of issues with youths causing damage to park furniture and setting off fireworks within Birkenhead Park. We are working hard with both internal and external partners to identify those responsible and deal with them accordingly. We are also looking at preventative measures.

Local residents and users of Birkenhead Park have reported concerns of ASB within the park and damage being caused to park furniture.

We are working hard with partners including the park rangers, Wirral Council ASB team and our Prevention officers to identify those responsible and deal with them appropriately. We will utilise council mobile CCTV to gain evidence of those committing these offences and apply for ASB prevention orders for individuals to stop this behaviour.

Local residents and regular users of Birkenhead Park have raised increasing concerns regarding ongoing antisocial behaviour within the park. Reports highlight incidents of damage being caused to park furniture, contributing to a deterioration of the environment and overall sense of safety. In addition, there has been a noticeable rise in e‑bike robberies in and around the park, leaving many community members feeling vulnerable.
