1938 Norton 16H motorcycle, Wirral Transport Museum, Birkenhead
Nearly 100,000 of these bikes were produced, and many were used during the Africa campaign in WWII by the Commonwealth forces. This one is also clearly of military paintwork.

Bidston Dock crane model, Wirral Transport Museum, Birkenhead
Three of these cranes were based on the quayside at Bidston Dock, now infilled. The cranes were located on the quayside around Image and were used for transfer of iron ore from ships to railway wagons destined for the John Summers steelworks in Shotton. The cranes were demolished in the 1990s, and the dock was landfilled around 2003.
