Eternal Memory
Obelisk erected in 1888 to the memory of George Marsh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Marsh_(martyr) ), who was burnt alive in the Marian terror on April 24th 1555. After the execution, the bishop of Chester concluded: 'Marsh was a heretic, burnt as such, and is a firebrand in hell.'

Bench mark above Barrelwell Hill
This bench mark is close to the end of the low sandstone wall in front of St Paul's Church, Boughton. The steps on the right go down to the private road known as Barrelwell Hill.
