Temple Bar, Frodsham Street, Chester
The 1920s pub is grade-II listed (http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-469797-city-arms-public-house- ) as the City Arms, which is the name on the inn sign. Next door, the Quaker Meeting House above one of those shops selling consumer goods for weekly repayments at extravagant rates of interest.

Entrance to the Kaleyards Car Park, Chester
The Kaleyards car park off Frodsham Street is a disabled car park only before 6pm.
There are controversial plans to relocate Chester Market here, however Chester Archaeological Society has opposed the plan as:
*"Building on the Kaleyards car park site would damage important Roman archaeological remains and disrupt a centuries-old pattern of land use. It would adversely affect the view of the City Walls and the City Walls (cf the ill-fated Mercia Square development of the late 1960s’)"
