West side of St Dyfrig's Catholic Church, Treforest
The Roman Catholic church is located on Broadway, on the west bank of the River Taff. The church is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff. Erected in 1926, the building was Grade II listed in 2001 for its architectural interest as a distinctive and well-preserved church using the early Christian style. St Dyfrig or Dyffryn (Dubricius in Latin) was one of the great Celtic saints prominent in the history of Wales in the middle of the first millennium of the Christian era.

Grade II listed St Dyfrig's Community Hall, Heathfield Villas, Treforest
Located 50 metres south of St Dyfrig's Catholic Church. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6076014 The hall was built c1926 by Newport architects F R Bates & Son in conjunction with the church. It was Grade II listed in 2001 as a church hall of distinctive interwar character and for group value with the nearby church.
