The Roman Catholic church is located on Broadway, on the west bank of the River Taff. The church is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff. Erected in 1926, the building was Grade II listed in 2001 for its architectural interest as a distinctive and well-preserved church using the early Christian style. St Dyfrig or Dyffryn (Dubricius in Latin) was one of the great Celtic saints prominent in the history of Wales in the middle of the first millennium of the Christian era.
