Public footpath at the Grove Golf Club, nr South Cornelly
Part of the route of the more easterly of two public footpaths which cross the Grove course. A map is essential here as the footpath is not signed on the course and at points is indistinct.

Porthcawl branch line trackbed, South Cornelly
A surviving stretch of trackbed of the long-dismantled Pyle to Porthcawl branch line which closed to all traffic in 1965. At one time, the Dyffryn Llynfi and Porthcawl Railway ran here.
The picture was taken on the bridge at the western end of the lane Heol-y-Splot which runs to Cornelly Quarry from the roundabout at the southern end of the village.

Trees at the Grove Golf Club, near South Cornelly
The picture shows a variety of fairly young broadleaf and coniferous trees in the north of the golf course. The trees seen are growing on land between fairways, several of which are looked across in the image.
