George Thomas Hospice Care charity shop, Crwys Road, Cardiff
Located on the corner of Crwys Road and Monthermer Road, diagonally opposite Crwys Road post office. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1973391 This is one of six shops, staffed solely by volunteers, which generate income for the Hospice. George Thomas Hospice Care is a major provider of free consultant-led community specialist palliative care to those with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in Cardiff. The hospice was founded by George Thomas, 1st Viscount Tonypandy, who was best known to the general public as Speaker of the House of Commons from 1976 to his retirement in 1983.

Cathays Library. Wide View. This is at a very busy crossroads at the cusp of ST1877. To the left of the picture is Whitchurch Road, straight past the building is Fairoak Road, behind me is Cathays Terrace and to the right of the Library is the long Crwys Road leading to the famous five ways "Death Junction"

The Greggs shop is on the corner of Crwys Road and Tewkesbury Street. Greggs is the largest specialist retail bakery chain in the United Kingdom, with about 1400 shops. Next door, at 116 Crwys Road, is Cyclopaedia, which offers the only bicycle-fitting service in South Wales.
