Royal Oak, Adamsdown, Cardiff
Large pub at 200 Broadway, Adamsdown, on the corner of, and viewed from, Beresford Road. Bed and breakfast accommodation is available. The pub dates back to at least the last decade of the 19th century. Until recently, there was a boxing gymnasium and ring on the first floor. Grade II listed in 2006.

Former New Dock Tavern, Cardiff
Located at 188 Broadway, on the corner of Blanche Street. Though no scaffolding is present, the building appears to be in the first stage of demolition. A gap in the roof on the right side of the building shows where a chimney stack has been removed, and the interior of the building at the extreme right of the view is partly demolished. The local newspaper reported in 2009 that the site "is due to be converted to student accommodation".

Pearl Street Sikh Gurdwara, Cardiff
The Pearl Street building facing Blanche Street was erected in 1892 as Ebenezer Baptist Chapel.
The chapel was converted to a gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) in 1976.
