Cowbridge Road East
Up-market gabled, stone, terraced housing with bay windows on a major road leading west from Cardiff's city centre. Note the blue plaque by the arched doorway commemorating Ivor Novello's birthplace. He composed "Keep the Home Fires Burning".

Welsh Male Voice Singer's Birthplace
The famous singer, Ivor Novello, was born in this house in Cardiff's Cowbridge Road East on 15th January 1893. The Gothic stone-arched doorway carries the inscription "Llywn yr Eos" and has the commemorative blue plaque beside it. The door holds a pleasing lyre.
