Black Weir Docks Feeder
The feeder supplies water to the Cardiff Docks and is still needed today. It takes water from the Taff about 2km north at Black Weir.

Bridge over the Black Weir Docks Feeder
The Black Weir feeder supplied water from the Taff to Bute East and West Docks. It still supplies water to the redundant but, still existing, East Dock. The bridge carries Herbert Street over the feeder.

The Feeder, Cardiff
The feeder draws water from the Taff, and was used to maintain the water-level in the docks. It now flows into Bute East Dock aka Atlantic Wharf. For most of its course through central Cardiff it is covered over. The apartment block in the background, the Altolusso Apartments, featured in Torchwood Season 1.
