JCDecaux is the largest outdoor advertising corporation in the world. Viewed from platform 5 at Cardiff Queen Street station at the end of January 2015. This view from the station has only recently been available for passengers. The platform had been disused for many years.

Cardiff Masonic Hall
Located in Guildford Street, viewed from the edge of Churchill Way.
The hall was built in 1863 as the United Methodist Church. On relocating in 1893,
the Methodists sold the building. It opened for Freemasonry in September 1895.
Grade II listed in 1975.

Shuttle service to Cardiff Bay waits at Cardiff Queen Street railway station
Waiting at platform 3 is an Arriva Trains Wales Class 153 Super Sprinter number 153362, named DYLAN THOMAS 1914-1953. It will shortly depart for the 1 mile journey to the terminus at Cardiff Bay station. There are 5 trains an hour in each direction, at 12 minute intervals, between the two stations. There is no direct service to Cardiff Bay from Cardiff Central. Passengers need to make the short trip to Queen Street for this shuttle service.
