View towards former Great Oaks Farm
The wood has no mapped name. Until recently, buildings in the blossoming shorter woodland to the right were mapped as Great Oaks Farm. There does not seem to be anything there now.

Mot's End
The lane does a right-angled bend to the left around the house. The house, from about 1700, is a grade II listed building. It is described as having a thatched roof, which is not the case now.
