These gates form a formidable barrier from the road but there are paths either side to a public bridleway I am standing on and not much fencing at the rear of The Lodge

The Limekilns training ground
The wide area of mown grass between the A1304 and the B1506 is used for training racehorses. The white disks are markers for a circuit around the field.
