Number 7 Pond Green is a late 15th century cottage of an open hall plan. In the 17th century the cottage was extended on the right and a floor was inserted into the open hall. Timber framed and stuccoed with a thatched roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1126428
Wicken is a small village some 10 miles north east of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Ely. There are traces of occupation from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. The village is the site of Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve.

Number 3 Pond Green is a late 16th or early 17th cottage of three bays. Timber framed, originally thatched but now with an ugly corrugated iron roof.
