Lion Mills redevelopment
The site of several former mills, dating back to the Domesday Book in 1086 when there was at least one watermill. The last mill, Lions Mill, closed in May 2005 and the site is now being redeveloped as housing.

Open land by Horse Bridge
On the south-western side of Soham. The footpath that runs along the river apparently crosses the railway but there is no official level crossing (though there are tracks up the embankment that show people do cross there).

The station is no more, but there are hopes it will return. The railway just runs past Soham at the moment, which seems a bit silly.
