Interior of St Andrew's Church, Soham
The nave with its 14th-century arcades is light and airy. Pevsner draws attention to the lavish late Norman and Early English decoration of the west crossing arch seen here. The rood screen beyond is Gothic of 1849, designed by Bonomi of Durham.
St Andrew's Church is listed Grade I https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101126450-church-of-st-andrew-soham

St Felix
Felix, a Burgundian, was the apostle and first bishop of East Anglia, giving his name to the port of Felixstowe. He founded a cathedral at Soham in 650, probably because it was near the East Anglian royal palace at Exning. This window depicting him was placed in St Andrew's Church in 2002 in memory of Wallace Turner (1914-2000), founder of the well-known haulage firm Turner's of Soham and is based on a 15th-century wall painting uncovered in the chancel of the church during restoration in 1849.

The Soham sower
Stained glass in St Andrew's Church, Soham illustrates the parable of the sower which is found in all three synoptic Gospels. In the King James Bible, Mark 4:3 reads "Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the birds of the air came and devoured it up."
