Harley Memorial
Unveiled in 2003, this Harley-Davidson statue commemorates the centenary of the motorcycle company. William Harley, father of the company's co-founder William Sylvester Harley, had been born in Victoria Street, Littleport, in 1835 and emigrated to the United States in 1859.

Littleport Harley Artwork 2003
William Sylvester Harley who founded the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company with Arthur Davidson in 1903, was the son of William Harley who was born in Littleport in 1835. He left Littleport in 1860 and emigrated to the USA.
In 2003 the Littleport Harley centenary celebration was held and culminated in the unveiling of the Harley memorial. The artwork is a life size interpretation of a 1936 'El Knucklehead' motorcycle made from stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Harley
A stainless steel Harley motorcycle in Church Lane Littleport Cambridgeshire. The father of William Sylvester Harley was born in Littleport and in 2003 to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company a statue was unveiled.
