Further work at Arbury Camps
Taken from about 150/200 yards further left and five months later than Image (I doubt whether Keith will be able to take a further photo in his series next February - this is about the only point on the approach to the A14 where it's possible to get a clear view east now.) Very little further work has gone on here recently. The builders have scaled back work due to the current problems in the property market. I have no idea what the curved metal structure on the left is. Any ideas?

Orchard Park
Prior to 2006 this area was agricultural land on the outskirts of Cambridge, but has been developed as a new suburb of the City, consisting predominantly of a mix of social and private housing, built in the fashionable high density format. The archeology of the site includes traces of Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman occupation, perhaps the most significant being the remains of a Late Iron Age lowland fort, known as Arbury Camp.
