Histon: The Cambridgeshire Guided Busway
This is the mothballed northbound Histon and Impington guided bus stop, on the site of the old Histon railway station, looking in the direction of St Ives. In the centre of the photograph is one of the car traps, gravel filled pits designed to prevent non-bus traffic from using the busway.

Histon Station
The platform and canopy have been removed. Unsure if the building will be part of the Guided Busway infrastructure or not. It may become a ticket office. It may be a listed building and subject to planning controls. All will be revealed when the busway opens in 2009.

Car on the busway, Histon, Cambs
Cars and the occasional lorry get driven onto the Cambridge–St Ives busway from time to time. Here the driver was misled by her satnav and took a wrong turning near the Histon stop. The photo was taken from a service C to St Ives, which had to make a detour through the village and rejoin the busway further along.
