House listed as The Maltings. Late C15 or early C16. Timber-framed, part exposed but mainly rendered with roughcast. Cement tiled roofs, hipped to rear of crosswing, and late C17 or early C18 ridge stack. First floor jettied. Haslingfield: High Street and The Dovecote
The Grade II listing for The Dovecote, on the left, begins "Dovecote, now a dwelling, c 1650, restored mid C20. Red brick, English bond, on chamfered plinth with cut and moulded brickwork to elaborate cornice. Conical roof now covered with fishscale-pattern slates. Octagonal cupola, timber-framed, each face with depressed four-centred arch".
