The Grade II listing for The Dovecote, on the left, begins "Dovecote, now a dwelling, c 1650, restored mid C20. Red brick, English bond, on chamfered plinth with cut and moulded brickwork to elaborate cornice. Conical roof now covered with fishscale-pattern slates. Octagonal cupola, timber-framed, each face with depressed four-centred arch".
