Fenner's: opening the batting
The Northamptonshire openers Stephen Peters (left) and Josh Cobb making their way to the middle just before eleven o'clock on the first morning of the 2015 cricket season. The county declared on 357 for 7 and Cambridge MCCU reached 56-1 by the close of an unusually warm and sunny day. The Fenner's Building of Hughes Hall College forms the backdrop.

Coronation Street: former Parish Institute
Now the Stephen Perse Foundation Visual Arts Centre, this unattractive building dates from 1896. It was originally St Paul's Parish Institute (those words are incised in an arc above the circular window in the tympanum) but in 1994 became part of the Perse School for Girls (incised on the lintel above the two doors).
