A Free House, when I visited it was serving Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Nethergate Mary's Ruby Mild as well as the inescapable Greene King IPA. Timber-framed and plastered, plain tiled half hipped roof.

Sign of The Three Tuns
The arms are those of the Worshipful Company of Vintners, which explains why pubs are always called the "Three" Tuns rather than any other number. (The Brewers Company arms also have three). The motto is misspelt, it should be "Vinum exhilarat animum" - Wine cheers the Mind (or Heart, or Spirit, or Soul).

The pavilion on this attractive sloping ground (conveniently opposite the pub) is part of the village institute. The ground was looking well-prepared in the week running up to the start of the 2012 Cambridgeshire Premier League season.
