Heads Nook railway station (site), Cumbria
Opened in 1862 by the Newcastle & Carlisle Railway shortly before it became part of the North Eastern Railway, this station closed in 1967. View south west towards Wetheral and Carlisle. The platform edge is not so clearly marked as it was 22 years previously Image
