The road to High Crosby
High Crosby is only a matter of feet higher than Low Crosby, now the main part of Crosby-on-Eden. Before the by-pass was built, this was the A689. The Hadrian's Wall Path follows this road into Low Crosby (behind the camera).

Day two, 24 miles to walk today and it starts with light rain but ends in us walking for hours into strong winds with snow blowing into our faces. Not good for taking photos and maybe I may have missed a square or two during the day.
