Located beside the door to Image . Kelly's Directory of Cumberland, 1894 http://specialcollections.le.ac.uk/cdm/ref/collection/p16445coll4/id/8881 has an entry at Guild Hall Offices, Fisher Street, for 'Caledonian Railway (traffic offices), William Mather, district traffic supt.'. The bit of writing visible on the stone today looks like it might have said 'Goods Manager's Office'.
