The Waverley Line replaced by a footpath
The scenic railway line from Edinburgh and the Borders once ran directly north to south through this square. The line was closed to passenger trains in 1969. Not much scenery around the path here, sandwiched between two industrial estates. The path links the nature reserves of Kingmoor North and Kingmoor South.

Entrance to Kingmoor Park (Central)
Kingmoor Park is a 400 acre site providing office, warehouse and light industrial accommodation. It was developed on land previously used as an RAF maintenance unit (14MU), which closed in the mid 1990's. It still appears to have good security in place.
