The Belah Centre
The building was completely refurbished in 2008 - previously it had been little more than a hut. Built in 1951 as a Baptist church, it was bought by Carlisle City Council in 1964 and converted to a community centre (Centre website http://www.belahcommunitycentre.org.uk ).
