The main hall, Currock Community Centre
The community centre opened in the 1930s - an amenity for the newly developed housing estate in Currock. Presumably this building dates from around that time.

Currock House
One of the buildings that make up Currock Community Centre http://www.currockcommunitycentre.org.uk/ , located in Lediard Avenue. Currock House was built around 1832, and became a Community Centre in 1934. It is a Grade II listed building http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=386779 .

Train coming under Currock foot and cycle bridge
Taken a few days after the bridge was opened - see Image .
The bridge deck slopes gently down towards the top of a long ramp on the right hand side.
The train is on the Cumbrian Coast Line, heading towards Carlisle Station. The locomotive is Class 37 diesel number 37403, built in 1965 and recently restored after a few years out of service.
