Taken a few days after the bridge was opened - see Image . The bridge deck slopes gently down towards the top of a long ramp on the right hand side. The train is on the Cumbrian Coast Line, heading towards Carlisle Station. The locomotive is Class 37 diesel number 37403, built in 1965 and recently restored after a few years out of service.
