Benchmark on Little Musgrave Farm
Ordnance Survey cut mark benchmark described on the Bench Mark Database at www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm88157
It seems likely that the stone has been moved because the benchmark is inverted and its location does not match that verified by the Ordnance Survey in 1955.

Old circular AA Sign in Little Musgrave
Old AA Sign located on the wall of Eden View Farm on the south side of Swillings Lane, Little Musgrave, 3 miles north of Kirkby Stephen. Musgrave parish.
This is the circular, village name on black band, no Motor Union symbol or name type, dating from 1923 and showing distances Great Musgrave 1, Soulby 1¾, London 267½.
There were five series of AA signs, mostly dating from 1923 and made by Francis & Co / Franco in Deptford, London. The village name and distance to London were displayed.
