This Leyland Atlantean was heading back out from the Grand Prix terminus at Brough. For the record, Auchenshuggle is in the east end of Glasgow as well as possibly being the most Scottish-sounding destination on display at the Cumbria Easter Rally!

Leaving Brough bound for Kirkby Stephen
XUS 575S is a Leyland Atlantean AN68A/1R with Alexander AL-type panoramic-windowed H45/33F bodywork which was new as Greater Glasgow PTE, LA1204 in October 1977. Now preserved, it carries the later Strathclyde's Buses livery; such vehicles were a familiar sight in the 1980s.
The vehicle is seen here leaving the Brough terminus bound for Kirkby Stephen early on the first day of the Cumbria Easter Rally.
