XUS 575S is a Leyland Atlantean AN68A/1R with Alexander AL-type panoramic-windowed H45/33F bodywork which was new as Greater Glasgow PTE, LA1204 in October 1977. Now preserved, it carries the later Strathclyde's Buses livery; such vehicles were a familiar sight in the 1980s. The vehicle is seen here leaving the Brough terminus bound for Kirkby Stephen early on the first day of the Cumbria Easter Rally.
