Chimney pots, Elmwood Avenue, Belfast (November 2015)
Twelve chimney pots, on a mid-Victorian terrace, on the southern side of Elmwood Avenue. The brickwork and the six low plain pots nearest the camera might not be original. The six hexagonal pots do seem to have an authentic period appearance.

The Church of the Resurrection (CoI), Belfast
Part of the Church of Ireland in Queen’s University. The church was built in 1963 to a design by Shanks and Leighton. A tight squeeze, it sits in what was the back garden of the house on the left (now part of the CoI chaplaincy at the university) in Elmwood Avenue.
