Abandoned building site, Omagh
Pictured along Knockgreenan Drive, near Crevenagh - a result of the downturn in the housing market. One plus is that a potential wildlife area has formed.

Garden grabbing, Omagh
This site was lying vacant at Knockgreenan Close, off the Hospital Road for years and was purchased for more than two and a half times the cost that people would have paid for buying an adjacent bungalow in the 1980s. There is a sewer running through it on the left and part of the ground is swampy. I was amazed to see the plans for its development which include the erection of two detached houses.
