Site of Prospect Terrace, Omagh
Six houses were located along the Kevlin Road here to the right of New Brighton Terrace, opposite the entrance to Glenview Cottages. For a time they were known as Orr's Row after a local J.P. who lived there. They were demolished when the Christian Brothers school was built. There once was a wide elevated footpath along the front of the houses with a set of concrete steps at the right hand side.

Benedict Kiely, Omagh
St Patrick's Terrace and the adjoining St Patrick's Street are in the Gallow's Hill district of Omagh and include some of the older dwellings of the town and are in remarkably in good condition and have kept most of their original character. The street names are in English and Irish. What caught my eye was the green plaque on the first dwelling depicting the fact that Benedict Kiely, novelist and journalist and short story writer lived in this house from 1923 to 1938.
