St Patrick's Terrace and the adjoining St Patrick's Street are in the Gallow's Hill district of Omagh and include some of the older dwellings of the town and are in remarkably in good condition and have kept most of their original character. The street names are in English and Irish. What caught my eye was the green plaque on the first dwelling depicting the fact that Benedict Kiely, novelist and journalist and short story writer lived in this house from 1923 to 1938.
