The Gasworks, Belfast (June 2016)
Part of the redeveloped former Belfast gasworks (described in Image) viewed, across the Lagan, from Ravenhill Reach. The degree of transformation can be seen when compared with this view Image in March 1988. One of the memorable features of the scheme was the removal of the contaminated soil before work started. The smell was almost overpowering when passing in a train.

Halifax call centre, Belfast
The Halifax call centre (seen in Image) opened in 2002. Designed by MAP Architects, it is one of the most outstanding pieces of recent architecture in Belfast. This is part of the SW corner of the building. It looks especially well in the May sunshine against a cloudless sky.
