Apartments at Ravenhill Reach on the banks of the River Lagan, Belfast. These were some of the first apartments built by the Lagan as part of the Laganside regeneration programme in the early 1990's.

Laganside sculpture 'Porthole 2000'
Detail of Image This is the bronze disc in the centre of the sculpture. The artist of the piece was Jo-Anne Hatty who worked with the Bridge Community Youth Group who are based on the nearby Ravenhill Road. Titled 'Porthole 2000' the piece "comprises two large curved blue steel elements with portholes, referring to Belfast shipbuilding." There is also a bronze disc set at the centre of the piece which was designed in conjunction with the aforementioned youth group. The sculpture was completed to mark the launch of the National Cycle Network Millennium Routes.

Dredging the River Lagan, Belfast - 2010/11 (87)
The workboats used in the contract have now been joined by this one from Lough Erne (as a temporary substitute for the "Cranagh Star"), seen pushing a loaded barge downstream through the Ravenhill Reach.
