The former "Parkview Bar", Belfast (November 2014)
A former Bluenose bar at 164-166 Ravenhill Road. Currently “at rest” the premises are offered for sale and described by the agents as “The subject is a 3 storey building, occupying the corner position on a row of terraced buildings. The front portion of the building comprises a public bar, with a combination of perimeter fixed bench seating supplemented by freestanding tables and chairs. There is a wooden bar servery with a range of optics and shelving. Male, female and disabled WC facilities are located off the public bar area. Upper floors provide additional function rooms and storage space. The property is for sale with the benefit of a liquor licence in place.” The “for sale” sign includes “with redevelopment potential”. The premises seem to have been built around the start of the 20th century. The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of geographical and historical record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the sale. Continue to Image
