Nos 120-126 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast - September 2014(1)
This was the site of a terrace of four large early-20th century houses which had been converted into flats. Unfortunately, not realising that they were due for demolition and not realising the significance of the absence of parked cars I omitted a “before” photograph. Demolition started this week. The Planning Service website shows the following: “Z/2008/1365/F 120-126 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast. erection of 21No. apartments and associated car parking (amended description) PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED 10/04/2009”.
