Nos 7-9 Upper Frank Street, Belfast (May 2018)
A block of former Belfast Corporation flats facing Calvin Street. Built, to the best of my knowledge, in the 1950’s to replace terrace houses bombed by the Luftwaffe. The original houses seem to have been in existence before 1887.

Vacant and semi-derelict premises, at the corner of Castlereagh Place, advertised for sale as a development opportunity. The agents’ advertisement included “The property is located on the corner of Woodstock Road and Castlereagh Place. The property comprises an end terrace arranged over ground and first floors. Formerly a bookmakers, the property is in need of refurbishment throughout”. I have no connection with the sale and cannot enter into correspondence.

A plaque commemorating Sir Henry Pottinger http://www.ulsterhistory.co.uk/henrypottinger.htm on the site of his home at The Mount Image He is remembered in local place names Image, Image, Image and in a window presented to St Peter's church , Bournemouth (Image and Image) by his daughter, in 1859.
