Many of the gate posts around the Monument and Knockagh Roads are of a similar appearance. This one is on the eastern side of the Monument Road. There is another, in the background, in front of the trees.

Wild roses, Knockagh
The Monument Road, leading to Knockagh war memorial Image, has an interesting mix of beech hedge (not too common in Co Antrim), hawthorn and, here and there, wild roses. This plant is on the eastern side. Some of the fence posts are old railway sleepers.
