The "Bolero" at Warrenpoint
Merchant Ferries operated a Warrenpoint – Heysham freight-only ferry from 1986 until 1995 when the service transferred to Dublin. After a break, Seatruck (the present operator Image) re-opened the route in 1996 using the charted ferry “Bolero” - built in 1985. The ship has since been converted to a cable-maintenance vessel and re-named “Lodbrog”.

Fire Station Tower at Warrenpoint
The town's fire station stands at the junction of the A2 and Meeting Street and is opposite Warrenpoint Harbour. The spire in the background is at Warrenpoint Presbyterian Church in Meeting Street.
