Sandys Street Methodist Church
This building, erected in 1841, stands next to the Sandys Street Presbyterian Church. The two buildings were designed by Thomas Duff, a Newry architect who also designed Newry Courthouse and many of Northern Ireland's Catholic Cathedrals, including those of Newry and Armagh.

Sandys Street Presbyterian Church and Sandys Street Methodist Church

This church, built in 1830, and its neighbouring churches - Downshire Presbyterian and Sandys Street Methodist - stand in what used to be the Protestant Quarter of this now predominantly Catholic city (88% of the population has a Roman Catholic background and 8% a Protestant background).
