Letter box, Blackskull
Post-mounted EIIR letter box on the south western side of the crossroads on the Donaghacloney and Killysorrell Roads. The name seems to come from an incident (during, I think, the war of 1641/2) when a soldier was beheaded. His head was left on view outside the local inn. The Irish name is Baile Mhic Dhonnagain (accents omitted).

The Methodist church (and former mission hall), last seen 5½ years ago in Image, on the south western side of the crossroads on the Donaghacloney and Killysorrell Roads. There is a small graveyard – middle right.
