The previous line (left) of the Movilla Road (to Millisle) and the present road, near the entrance to the Bowtown estate. The old line gives access, from the town end, to the Hawthorn and Whitethorn private developments.

Bowtown bus stop, Newtownards (1)
The aptly-named first (inward) stop, at Abbot Drive, in the Bowtown estate. Served by an infrequent 7A from the bus station with some through services to and from Belfast. The 7A is mainly Monday – Fridays. The weekend service is almost non-existent. See also Image
