"The View", Donaghadee (August 2017)
A new apartment development at the corner of New Road and Shore Street/Warren Road. The agents’ description includes “7 Exclusive apartments with uninterrupted sea views Ranging from c. 920 sq ft to 1380 sq ft 2 and 3 bedroom Penthouses with private roof gardens and feature vaulted ceilings”. This photograph appears as a matter of record only. I have no connection with the development and cannot enter into correspondence.

The Moat, Donaghadee
Built c1818 the Moat housed explosives for the blasting involved in the construction of the harbour. The original mound was of Norman origin, when a motte and bailey stood on the site. It was initially used as a defensive structure, and provided an excellent look-out post.

Donaghdee and the Copeland Islands from the Moat
