Seahaven Park Homes, Groomsport
This used to be a caravan site with a residential section - primarily for the retired. In 2007, after a change of ownership, existing full time residents were encouraged to upgrade to timber framed chalet style homes, causing some controversy given the money involved. The site has been extended to include more of these chalets - which are fixed to a foundation. Rules state that no-one below 45 may purchase - and children may visit, but not stay. Residents have the luxury of a full time warden. It is in effect a retirement community.
